During my time at the University of Minnesota, I had the amazing opportunity to work for Kristina Designz. Kristina runs her own custom wedding stationery company. While working for Kristina Designz, I had many different opportunities to learn from her. I learned about the inner workings of running business, client relations, and creation of wedding stationery. The first “solo” design I did at Kristina Designz was for Cretia and Robert.
After our meeting with Cretia and Robert, Kristina and I discussed the unique design they wanted. I drew out the basic outline for the modified 3.5 roll fold invite.
After some quick calculations, I set up the document and started designing.
We went through a couple round of revisions. We even ended up trying an all cursive invite.
After final revisions, we were able to print the invite. I was also able to help create a program based of the design for the invite.
