In this project I have created two different styles for a book cover of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.
For my formal book cover, I went with a simple design on a white background. The combination of the formal black shape and the casual blue flowers match the comedy of love in the play.
For my contemporary design, I created a typographical pattern in the background. I also included a moon to represent the night setting of the play.
